Good Day Lilibaby,

Do you know Lilian? She signed up yesterday. She has an email address lilianbaby227@ and I was thinking that you had to repeat the sign up process.

Anyway. Please spread our technological word as we have a lot to give but have only been able to do it from the mainland, America. Thank Godness for the internet.

I hope you do want to get involved with us. This here information is for all!  Tell us more of what you’re interested in and would like to help with and where.  Or ask other members questions on how we can help you.

Haiti Reconstruction welcomes you and hopes you will learn and be able to find our pages useful to you and your endeavors and also tell us of your situation. You can message individuals or leave posts for all to see in an endeavor to help us unite in helping Haiti revive. Do you have relatives in Haiti?

The main present project is to expand the use of our TLUD stoves so as to reduce smoke inhalation from cooking indoors.

Second is to prevent erosion by planting Vetiver rows on the mountains and elsewhere to stop erosion and enrich the soil for row cultivation.

Third is to teach people how to make and use bio-char through using the TLUD stoves.
and,

Fourth is to start learning how to make and use AEM(Activated Effective Microorganisms). This I is where I come in concerning Activating EM-1 and making its many derivatives and where to use them. This is something we really need to teach the young generation so that they can teach their elders, especially their farmers, because EM Technology produces more, has more uses and is much cheaper than fertilizers. Les Mains Unite is supposed to be teaching this technology in schools in Haiti, but I haven't heard anything more from them. Do your research and good luck.

Since Vetiver planting has been carried out over the past years you should have no trouble to find spots between the Vetiver hedge rows to planting trees but please lay a good foundation of compost, Bokashi, mixed with bio-char 10 days before planting your trees and follow the Permaculture principles of surrounding the trees with other harmonious plants.

So explore the many other project and tell us about yourself and don't hesitate to join in with your questions and comments. We need participation if we are to help Haiti. Spread our knowledge!
