Welcome Joan

So glad you joined our site, I found a little about you on Green world restoration!

How exciting a background you will notice most of our site is green conscience.  We promote this for many reasons it is not only eco freindly but it is the best for Haiti.  Like cell phones they never need land lines and with solar and wind power they can catch up with modern technogy quickly.

Your temporary shelters look better than most homes I have been in when in Haiti countrysides.

As you may notice our site is mostly concerned with provideing food through agricultural means but we will put a link to your site in member links if you like.

If you are interested we love to have your comments and quesions, Thanks Mike

I also noticed your experience in the biomass industry and work as an independent sales consultant for a biochar manufacturing corporation.

Any suggestions you have for stoves or composting programs would be appreciated

Sorry I won’t be in Haiti while you are there.  I hope the Building Back Better Communities Initiative is successful.

I just started a new page called gardens under the produce more food tab.

The Video says ACDI VOCA but the people they interview about the gardens are my Ag committee and drip irrigation is what I gave them.

Under that produce more food tab you should also look at drip irrigation and nurseries (toward the bottom is a nursery we built for vegtable seedlings that they later sell to the people (very cheap, it is good for the people to contribute a little. We give them the seeds but they need to make it a business for upkeep.)

Good luck on your venture and please keep in touch, Mike
