I'm the guy trying to get to Haiti to dissipate my knowledge about Effective Microorganisms(EM-1) and Biochar, a way of life, that IS sustainable. So if you have any questions about their uses in agriculture, sanitation, aquaculture, cleaning of lakes, growing mushrooms, getting rid of bad odors and for making and using Biochar in Agriculture, I'm your contact stuck here in South Florida, willing to help from here. Hoping to one day get Pres. Martelly's attention to present my project which would be GOOD for all in Haiti.
Welcome, Erin, always good to have new partners/members who are involved in different fields of concentration.
If you are in Health, you must certainly be "in" Nutrition, a practice area which we need to better integrate in our line of work; it is critical within the context of improving/expanding growing food in Haiti. When selecting seeds and produce to grow, we must be aware of optimal nutritional combinations, and share it with the communities. We look forward to your providing HRI guidance and coaching. A discussion group on the topic - integrating nutrition in agriculture - would be timely.
Kind regards, Criss J.
