Dear Mr. Oreste,

From the start, I must thank you and your team for welcoming me in this group of people that must be commended for their efforts to try to rebuilt this country. It is a challenging undertaking. However, with a team of people dedicated to take-on the challenges by the horn, pull-up their sleeves and get to work; our work is half done.

Thanks again,

Louis Metayer

Certainly, and as mentioned, I must began by asking if your team have a master plan and subsequently a plan of action, ....? For purposes of knowing where we are, where we want to go, how, and knowing that we have gotten there...! Also,  been able to track our courses to effectively get or achieved the intended results and least but not last, " un état d'avancement des projets " inclusding their co$t.

Talk to you soon.

Thank you for your welcome... I presently have a non profit educational organization called Crayons for Haiti, Inc. based out of Philadelphia. We are a branch of the Word in Action Int'l Ministries also based in Philadelphia. Our goal is simply to assist in finding supplies and encourage self sustainability at each of our schools. We currently collaborate with 4 schools Loving hands Kindergarten in Delmas, Ecole Mixte de Lamentin in Carrefour, Ecole Mixte de la Pentcote in Mourn Oge, and Exandans in Jacmel. Each school has different needs and different resources available to them, therefore we simply want to facilitate access to the tools and training necessary to encourage them to continue their own development with what is available. This project has proven to be more challenging than I expected, but this is my baby so I will work for it. I am presently in school to become a teacher and would like to participate in the Special Education Life skills program for children 3 to 11 years old. That is the long term goal... I am reaching out to like minded organizations to collaborate and make a difference in the perspective and the quality of life in Haiti.

Hi Elice,

I hope that you are doing well with your studies in the US. Although, it is very important that once you initiate a project, you must see-it through. I suspect, without a plan or even a business plan it would be impossible to do the follow-up, change, add, substract, as the circumstances dictate.Thereby, if you would allowed....? I would recommend, if you do not have the necessary skills to the above mentioned suggestions- to go and get help with people with the necessary competencies to get the job done.Again, go out and get consultancy advise as the US is in the forefront of all sorts of consultancy.Waiting for your response to the challenges ahead!
