Please tell us more about yourself and ask questions or give suggestions. Our main goal is to make Haiti prosper! Do you have a specific village or area in Haiti that you help?
I just read some of your website, looks great.
HRI, is totally non-profit, we give everything freely, and pay for our own overhead. We hope to collect donations someday but they all go to Haiti not our own expenses.
Bill Blackman said… Thanks for asking. We are adding direct service in Haiti to our public education and advocacy already done by the End Poverty Campaign. I'll be in Haiti from 2/25 to 3/5 in search of the best organizations to partner with. We are planing to donate substantial funds and publicity for their work.
Here is info on us and how we would like to help your work in Haiti.

Hello Bill,
I'm the guy trying to get to Haiti to dissipate my knowledge about Effective Microorganisms(EM-1) and Biochar, a way of life, that IS sustainable. So if you have any questions about their uses in agriculture, sanitation, aquaculture, cleaning of lakes, growing mushrooms, getting rid of bad odors and for making Biochar, I'm your contact stuck here in South Florida, willing to help from here. Hoping to one day get Pres. Martelly's attention to present my project which would be GOOD for all in Haiti.
Even though some think that one can achieve the same effects by composting with any local microorganisms that one does not have to pay for, they cannot guarantee that putrefying bacteria won't be in the mix. EM-1 only attracts beneficial microbes...
So much so that I have used it as an inoculant when I cut myself or my dog cuts himself (I do not advise this for others...)
From the start, when the earthquake hit, I have been trying to get people to realise the tremendous advantages of using EM-1 Technology in producing more food than with fertilizers, of cleaning algaeized lakes and waterways, of sanitizing camps and a whole lot more, but I am still here...
Sotia Teneh said… Good day,
How is everything with you, I picked interest on you, after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site. Could you please get back to me. My E-mail address (sotia_teneh4@yahoo.co.th) for the full details. Have a nice day.
thanks
Sotia Teneh.
