Haiti Reconstruction International (HRI)

HRI: Dedicated to FOMASYON of Haitians to run sustainable businesses that conserve resources, improve food security and health.

 

We also maintain Haiti Reconstruction web site to connect all non-profit organizations to keep them informed on what we are major projects are and our training facility for their Haitian communities and for expert advice on conservation, clean water, sanitation, safe cooking stoves and increasing a healthy food supply.

Haiti Reconstruction (website) is a social networking organization whose members are of NGO’s, sister parish groups, aid workers, and volunteers who are trying to improve the conditions throughout Haiti. Our main mission is connecting all our efforts into a powerful force to empower the people of Haiti to become self-sufficient through agriculture and conservation education.  Our website directs them to Haiti Reconstruction Intl who's Haitian teams on the ground can train and give loans so they can buy their own tools and materials for ownership in their sustainable businesses as they become self-sufficient. 

 It is strickly forbidden for HRI members to talk politics on this website.

Phillip Sterner

A 40-plus year resident of the community and owner of the oldest insurance agency in Apple Valley, MN

Phil Sterner has passion for volunteerism and public service. He has led local Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, coached RAAA youth athletic programs, served three terms as the Rosemount Elementary School site council president and was a member of his church parish council.

After one term on the Rosemount City Council, in 2008 Phil was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives, serving one term representing the residents of Apple Valley and Rosemount. 

He is on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Valley YMCA and is an ambassador for the Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce. 

Phil graduated from Apple Valley High School, and attended the University of St. Thomas.

Phil's knowledge in government will help us find funding and support
